To complement our school based-program and further our mission, the Sports4Kids Community Training Program provides customized staff trainings to schools, after school programs, summer camps, recreation centers, and various other youth service organizations.
By instilling youth development principles within each game, strategy, and discussion, our goal is to provide participants with tangible tools they can immediately implement into existing programming. Participants will also walk away with a greater awareness of how their work impacts the healthy development of each child in their schools and programs.
All workshops are very interactive and high energy. Our trainings are designed to blend a balance of:
- Active engagement in play and activities
- Presentation of material and modeling of strategies
- Group discussions and role plays on training content and program implementation
Training is provided on a fee-for-service basis, customized depending on the number of trainings requested, the number of participants, and the length of each training. To discuss your interest in having Sports4Kids provide a training for your school or organization, follow the link below.
